It is sweet, but built rather than sugary — vanilla bean at the top, tonka through the middle, whipped cocoa at the base. Closer to dessert than to frosting.
Would it work in a kitchen?
Yes, once the cooking is finished. Vanilla and cocoa sit well with a room that has just been used, and at 5.25 in tall the jar tucks in at the back of a counter.
