How often should I change the nectar?
Every two to three days in warm weather, weekly when it’s cool. Nectar ferments fast in the sun and fermented nectar is bad for birds.
How do I clean it?
Take it apart and wash with hot water and a bottle brush at every refill. Skip detergent — rinse residue is worse than a little sugar.
What do I fill it with?
Four parts water to one part white sugar, dissolved and cooled. No honey, no red dye, no artificial sweetener.
How long before birds find it?
Anywhere from a day to a few weeks. Hang it near flowers, somewhere with a clear approach, and be patient the first season.
How long will delivery take?
We pack within 1–2 business days, then standard delivery runs 5–10 business days to most addresses in the contiguous US. A tracking number is emailed the moment it ships. Duties and import charges are prepaid by us, so no carrier will ask you for money on delivery.
What if it isn’t right?
You have 30 days from delivery to send it back unused in its original packaging. Return postage is yours on a change of mind. If it turns up faulty, damaged or simply not what you ordered, send us a photo and we’ll replace or refund it — return postage on us.
